Apichard Sukonthasarn MD. is professor of medicine at Cardiovascular Division, Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University.  He graduated from Chiang Mai University in 1978 and received the certified Cardiology Subspecialty Board from Thai Medical Council in 1994.
    He served as the Chief of cardiovascular Division and Head of Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University during  2013 - 2015. He was the past member of editorial board of the Journal of the Medical Association of Thailand.  And was elected to be the President of Thai Hypertension Society since 2015.  He has published over 100 scientific articles in Thai and English and actively participates in HOPE Asia network of hypertension specialist.
