Chen-Huan Chen, MD
Dr. Chen-Huan Chen gradualted from National Yang-Ming University School of Medicine in 1982. He received cardiology training at Taipei Veterans General Hospital and clinical research fellowship training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in the USA. He is currently Professor of Internal Medicine and Dean, National Yang-Ming University School of Medicine, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C.
His research interests focus on cardiovascular epidemiology, hemodynamics, vascular aging, arterial stiffness, wave reflections, heart failure, and development of new methods for noninvasive assessment of cardiac and vascular functions. His research works have contributed significantly to the understanding and utilization of the generalized transfer function concept and the optimal clinical assessment of the wave reflections. He has published more than 280 academic papers and is currently Associate Editor of Journal of Clinical Hypertension.
